Wendy Lang is based at Carl Guild & Associates’ Glastonbury office and has been expertly servicing buyers and sellers throughout Central Connecticut for more than 14 years.

A Connecticut shore native, Lang worked previously as a stock broker and business manager, learning pivotal skills she later brought to her real estate career. She has also been an established member of the Glastonbury community for more than 20 years, where she raised her three children. As a strong believer in giving back, Lang volunteered extensively within the Glastonbury Public Schools, town-based music and athletic programs, and religious education.

She is presently vice president of Glastonbury High School's Friends of Football and strongly committed to the Glastonbury High School Drama Club. Outside of Glastonbury, her spirit of giving extends to organizations that assist women and children in need, as well as services to help combat the effects of addiction.

“As time went on my business evolved but I continue to represent clients at all price points and on both sides of the transaction,” Lang explains. Her vast experience spans everything from investment and bank-owned properties to high-end, luxury homes.

Beyond her deep knowledge and experience, Lang also embraces a unique industry mindset, which she brings to the Glastonbury office of Carl Guild & Associates. “In a post-Covid world, the business of real estate is about recognizing what has been lost in terms of personalized service through social distancing and the increase of technology while maintaining the systems that can augment a transaction; we need to be more available than ever for the client,” she explains. “In this new dynamic, we truly strive to be full-service in every way with a focus on five-star customer interactions, always.”

Her philosophy of carefully balancing innovative technology with highly personalized service is part of the reason she joined Carl Guild & Associates. Another facet was Guild’s emphasis on investing in people and giving back. “Carl’s ideas and my ideas closely align,” Lang explains. “We have parallel goals in business, and parallel ambitions to create a visible, positive effect on the communities in which we live.”
