With a passion for helping others, a love for house hunting, and a wide-ranging professional background, Laurie Norton brings energy and experience to her role as a real estate agent at Carl Guild & Associates.

Laurie’s journey into real estate was inspired by the excitement of the home search and the joy of helping people find a place that truly feels like home. “I love the thrill of house hunting and want to help others find the place that feels like home, the one that makes them say ‘This is it,’” she says.

Laurie brings a diverse professional background, including mortgage processing, lease management, small business lending, and office administration. These roles sharpened her communication, organization, and client service skills, all essential strengths for confidently guiding buyers and sellers through real estate transactions.

A Bozrah native, Laurie lived in five other states before returning to Connecticut, drawn back by her love for the changing seasons and small-town charm. Now residing in Colchester, she enjoys being part of a close-knit community with access to natural beauty and convenience.

Laurie is known for being dependable, responsive, and highly organized. She embraces the fast-paced nature of real estate with strong time management and a healthy supply of sticky notes to keep everything running smoothly.

Outside of real estate, Laurie stays active in her community by officiating Roller Derby and volunteering at fundraising events for a local volunteer fire department. She is committed to becoming a trusted resource in southeastern Connecticut and building a strong referral network through exceptional service and community involvement.
