John Baczek is a dedicated and passionate real estate agent who recently joined the esteemed brokerage Carl Guild & Associates. Originally hailing from Lee, MA, John resides in East Hampton, CT, with his loving wife, Chelsea, who is also an agent at Carl Guild & Associates. Together, they have two wonderful boys, John III, and Parker, who bring joy and inspiration to their lives. Family is paramount to John, and he cherishes the time spent with his loved ones.

Before starting his real estate career, John served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years. During his service, he was stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA, and Indian Head, MD. Following his time in the Marines, John spent six months in Ormond Beach, FL, before settling in Connecticut. His diverse background and exposure to different locations have equipped him with adaptability and a deep appreciation for other communities.

Aside from his professional pursuits, John has a range of hobbies that he enjoys in his spare time. Gardening, fishing, and quality family time are among his favorite activities. These interests allow him to relax and recharge while fostering his love for nature and outdoor adventures.

John was drawn to Carl Guild & Associates for several reasons. He was particularly impressed with the veteran program offered by the brokerage, which supports veterans transitioning into the real estate industry. After meeting with Carl Guild, John knew he had found the perfect environment to grow and thrive as an agent.

Before his real estate career, John held various positions contributing to his professional skill set. He was the head of security at a beach resort in Daytona, FL, and later worked as an assistant manager at Uhaul. He then joined Pepsi, initially in the warehouse, before moving into sales and eventually becoming a warehouse supervisor. John is also a sales representative for Frito-Lay, where he has honed his networking skills and developed a deep understanding of building relationships with a diverse clientele.

John believes his sales representative experience has prepared him well for his real estate career. Through his work with Frito-Lay, he has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Connecticut, establishing connections and meeting new people. This valuable network-building skill will undoubtedly benefit his clients as he navigates the real estate market on their behalf.
