About Glastonbury
What it's like to live here
Glastonbury is a Hartford County town of about 35,000 people on the east bank of the Connecticut River, roughly 7 miles southeast of downtown Hartford. Routes 2, 3 and 17 run through town, so getting to Hartford and beyond is quick, while the eastern hills stay rural with orchards, farm stands and forest.
The town has deep roots. The Glastonbury Historic District along Main Street and the South Glastonbury village center are both on the National Register of Historic Places, and more than 150 Glastonbury homes were built before 1800. Most residents own their homes, and buyer demand stays strong year after year.
Our Glastonbury office is at 59 Sycamore Street, and our agents live and sell here.
